By engaging the next generation in the management and maintenance of traditional culture,
a stronger future for homelands is being created....and you can help
Bunggul Djama Arts Alliance (BJAA) is a community-parntership initiative, focusing on remote indigenous communities in North-East Arnhem Land. A homeland-based enterprise BJAA is working in association with Education provider Laynhapuy Homeland Schools and Media, Training and Communication sponsor MusicArtsDance. We survive through a mix of goodwill and funding including In-Kind Sponsorship, Direct Grants, Donations and monetary support from Corporate and Individual Supporters. Funds raised are spent directly on project, training and operational costs.
BJAA and has been invited by the Community Patnerships Initiative of the Australia Council for the Arts to develop a three-year plan that identifies a mix of community, corporate, government, philanthropic and private individual partners to join with the Australia Council in supporting our program and we are working towards becoming incorporated under the Northern Territory Associations Act as a not for profit organisation and be registered as a Tax Deductible Gift Recipient. In the interim we are not able to directly offer tax-benefits for donations, however we are currently exploring opportunities for working with like-minded organisations that are able to provide a gateway for your Tax-Deductile Gift to reach us. We encourage you to join our Facebook community page for updates or directly message us with your query at CONTACT.
If Tax Deductibility is not your primary concern, we do have arrangements in place that allow you to make a donation when and how you please. Please message us with your query at CONTACT.
